How we started
Hi, and welcome to Bottomside Studios. We are proud to say that since Bottomside started in 2004, we have grown from strength to strength. At first it was a one-man-band with limited knowledge. Now we are a proud team with all the knowledge needed to service the industry.
Why Bottomside Studios?
Producing large scale multicam DVDs and supplying support and technical for film and TV shoots, is what makes us tick. We have built up a great supply of support equipment, technical specialties and rental stock, as well as sales suppliers that enable us to service most clients from A to Z. With the recent upgrade of our flyaway OB kit, and the extension of our cabling and comms, we are ready to be even more valuable in the supply of service the video industry of Pretoria, Gauteng and South Africa.
Bottomside Studios is the ONE company that will do whatever it takes, to make sure that your production succeeds from the Bottomside up!
SO WHAT DO WE DO?
RENTALS :
We rent a large scale of video production cameras and gear. We also focus on lighting and audio equipment so you as the client have one stop to make and get all the gear you need to do a profesional video production.
So if you are a student that need gear for a project, a film maker, a wedding videographer or a large scale production house etc. Bottomside Studios will be ready to assist you. Our Rental department is skilled in product knowledge so you can use the correct terms when looking for specific equipment. When doing rentals at Bottomside we will always help advise so you can choose the right gear for the job.
STUDIO BOOKINGS :
So you have the skills, the ideas and a few potensial customers but you don't have a space to work in?
We have the solution for you. We have access to a few studios to choose from. We can also help with gear and crew for these bookings.
SALES :
Not only do we rent out equipment but you can also buy video equipment from us directly.
If you like using a mobile OB you can now contact us and we can build a custom mobile OB box with your requirements. Not only do you save money by not renting every week but you get more time to use it, more jobs where you can do easy live mix setups where you only have to roll out cables for the cameras.
